Workflow

Workflow is the formalized, automated expression of your existing business processes. It is most valuable when used in a production environment where repetitive tasks are performed to process documents through your office or department. A workflow process does not have to be a rigid set of rules however – almost unlimited flexibility can be built in to account for a variety of conditions such as absentee workers or multiple managerial approval steps.

Optix Workflow provides a rich environment in which to specify and implement automated tasks. Using our graphical route editor, you can quickly express your business processes to flow documents and records through your organization, employing decision points, rules, subroutes, parallel paths, rendezvous points, and even custom server-based processing for integration with legacy systems.
